The Bride continues on her way to kill all who spoiled her wedding, but Bill is fully aware of what is coming. He warns his brother Budd so he is prepared when The Bride comes. He shots her in the chest with shotgun and bruies her alive at local cemetery. She has a lots of time there to think about her past, recalling her training under the cruel master Pai Mei. Only these memories help her utilize her harsh training and break free from her own grave. Meanwhile, Elle Driver also known as California Mountain Snake, arrives at Budds home to buy The Bride's Hanzō sword. But she has hidden black mamba snake alongside with money so Budd can't be credited for killing the Bride. As she watches him die, she calls Bill that The Bride killed Budd and that she killed The Bride afterwards, here is also revealed real name of The Bride, Beatrix Kiddo. As she leaves the trailer, The Bride ambushes her and furious battle begins. When Elle taunts The Bride that she poisoned Pai Mei for snatching out her eye, The Bride snatches her other eye and leaves her screaming in pain with black mamba in trailer. She travels to Mexico and Esteban Vihaio willingly tells her where Bill lives. She is ready to kill her last target, but she is more then surprised when she finds Bill as well as her doufgter, BB. After spent evening with her "new" family, they put BB to the bed and Bill shots Beatrix with truth serum, interrogating her why she left the Venom Squad. They fight and even if Bill is better with sword, Beatrix defeats him with Pai Mei's Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique. Just before Bill dies, he makes peace with her. Next day, Beatrix watches cartoon together with her daughter in hotel room.
